It has been said that nothing accompanies a fine mantel made out of salvaged Lou Gehrig baseball bats like pristine portraiture. Today’s Groupon brings new decorative qualities to your countenance with a one-hour photo session, five edited, high-resolution digital copies from your shoot, and 10 percent off additional products with J. Todd Photography for $50. Prove to your taunting friends that you can indeed be captured on film and that your obsessive love for the Twilight sagalogy has not rendered you a vampire, werewolf, or angsty teen.

The moments of life get discarded into the river of memory in favor of pursuing the future. Rein them in and invite them to tea with photography, a tried and true form of freezing reality. Talented photographers are widely considered the most talented when it comes to solidifying the present. The Todd behind J. Todd Photography has years of experience to tell him that taking a picture is more than isolating an instantaneous visual instance in time; it's capturing the story that surrounds the subject. Todd’s body of work proves his dedication to his art and his ability to present the present to you and the loved ones you share the present with.

Along with your hour-long session, you will receive five high-resolution digital copies with editing and get 10 percent off any other prints you may wish to take from the shoot. From photo albums to individual prints and framed portraits, there’s a variety of formats to own your own pictures in. Capture the magic of a child whose innocence is only slipping away with each passing day or an adult who refuses to eat hot dogs in a bun.

Like a butterfly hunter with a photography net, professional pics capture the memories of birthday parties, graduations, birthday parties taking place next to graduation parties, and sentimental pictures of you and the sandwich you made without outside help. Capture, commemorate, and let the memories resonate in a memory resonator chamber, which is not far from the gas station.

Be sure to make your appointments in advance. This Groupon is not valid for weddings or groups larger than 10 people.

Why It's Illegal to Photograph the Moon

Photography was invented in 1908 for the purpose of shaming racehorses into running faster. Embarrassed at the implied speed of their still portraits, horse speeds doubled within a year. The new technology quickly gained popularity with myriad other velocity-related applications, including the use of photography to shame children into growing faster. By 1950, the average height in the United States was 11 feet.

As a race of giants, Americans quickly outgrew the planet Earth and entered the moon race against the shorter Soviets. Unfortunately, once both countries had established their moon bases, the moon's negligible gravitational pull gave the smaller, lighter cosmonauts an advantage, and the Americans were badly defeated in the First Moon War. For this reason, it is now illegal to talk about, think of, or photograph the moon.
