This is such a wonderful and unique experience. It gives a whole new appreciation for those who sacrifice for our safety. If you have a chance to experience this I highly recommend it. I will absolutely be back.

The USS ORLECK was launched in 1945 and served in the Korean and Vietnam conflicts. She is retired now and is serving as a floating museum.

Self-guided tours are available during our normal business hours:

Wednesday - Friday 9 am - 2:30 pm

Saturday 9am - 3:30pm

Sunday 10am - 3:30pm

They take approximately an hour to an hour and a half. Sensible shoes are strongly encouraged as steep stairways are along the tour route.

Multiple on-deck as well as below-deck compartments are available to explore and Docents are on board to answer any questions.

The newly reopened Navy Pier is also now open to explore as well.
