Q:

Don't I remember a Groupon that ran before for Janke studios where it was for a couple and there was wine and Hors D'oeuvres? I believe it was also $75.00.

Carol A.  asked on  Jan 10, 2013

A:

Yes. That was offered last year. I won't be running that again anytime soon however. Hope that helps, not quite sure if that was the question. Thanks.

Q:

Hi: I am interested in either groupon class. The $225 class allows you to make 6 glasses only. Is there opportunity to create anything else? Do you begin creating during the first class? I guess the real question is what more do I learn or make with the 5 classes vs. 1 class? Thanks. I left my # 7/668-0038. I hope to hear from you either way. Marilyn

Marilyn S.  asked on  Jan 8, 2013

A:

Niether class makes 6 glasses....but in the 5-week class each week you will learn a set of new skills and by the end of class you will have paperweights, small bowls, cups, a fish...several pieces over the 5- weeks. In the 5-week you will learn all of the basics of beginning glassblowing through cold working your pieces. In the 3-hour Cheers class you will be assisted in making only a wine stopper and stemless goblet...it is a project based experiential. If you're seeking creativity the 5-week is best for you. Hope that helps.
