What You'll Get
Like dehydrated astronaut food, photographs are travel-size echoes of reality and register a papery texture on the palate. Freeze yourself in time’s airlock chamber with today’s Groupon: for $49, you get a photo session and $150 of print credit at Janné Photographics in Liberty Township (up to a $300 total value). This deal is not valid toward wedding or boudoir sessions.
Janné Photographics is a boutique studio run by snapshot savant Janné Peterson that captures the elusive personality of each photo subject with customized shoots in studio or outdoor settings (up to $150 value). Janné has all clients come in for a free preportrait consultation to determine client needs and magic 8 ball forecasts. Families tired of stiffly posing in baroque costumes for daylong painting sessions can let down their hair with casual, artistic lifestyle portraiture sessions. Seniors looking for handsome yearbook photos, even the super seniors wielding AARP cards, can dress up for tasteful studio sessions or pick the outdoor location of their choice. The $150 credit can be used to purchase two gift prints (5" x 7" and 8" x 10"), an image collection of five gift prints ($250 total cost), or a variety of other portrait plans.
Appointments to order prints are typically scheduled one to two weeks after photo sessions. Janné will arrange the images in a slideshow and can assist in making the final decision on which to keep and which to sacrifice to an army of ravenous shutterbugs. Although Janné Photographics sometimes features a discounted price online, this Groupon still offers the best deal available.

About Janné Photographics
Artistic pursuits eat up most of Janné Peterson’s time each week. That’s because she’s an elementary art teacher with a master’s degree in graphic arts, fine arts, and art education; a specially trained portrait artist belonging to the Professional Photographers of Ohio; and the founding photographer of Janné Photographics. Janné snaps family portraits with a contemporary style, capturing loved ones linked arm-and-arm against the rich colors of scenic outdoor expanses where many of her on-location shoots take place. In studio, Janné makes use of colored backdrops, lighting setups, and talcum powder-scented air fresheners that cater towards baby photo sessions.
