While we acknowledge that one of our movers arrived late to your job, which we informed you of his tardiness and estimated time of arrival, we want to clarify that our team, including the two movers and our box truck, did provide full moving services for the first hour of your move. Once the third mover arrived, your move continued to move forward without a hitch. In recognition of the delay, we also offered to waive the $50 travel fee to Conyers, GA as a gesture of goodwill. However, we feel it’s important to address the full context of the situation. To be blunt, the property was filthy. Our crew worked through roaches, old food under the beds, dressers filled with trash, urine-soaked mattresses, broken furniture, and a house filled with foul smells. Yet they stayed professional and got the job done. Additionally, to correct a misconception: U-Haul does not manufacture a 14 ft truck. It’s frustrating to see someone misrepresent facts just because they don’t want to pay for a service that was completed properly. We always strive to take accountability when things go wrong and do our best to make it right, which is what we attempted to do here. That said, we also expect fairness and honesty in return. What we won’t do is sit quietly while someone spreads falsehoods online. We have documentation, including photos and receipts, that support our account of the events.
