Q:

What if you want to completely change the job field that you are in and do something different. Would you be able to gear the resume to a different type of job position without the resume being to generic. Will you be able to speak with someone if you have questions or is this completely done on line

Saundra W.  asked on  Jan 13, 2013

A:

Saundra, thanks for your question! These processes are completed entirely online, utilizing our comprehensive questionnaire service and collaborative e-mail dialogue. We can ensure that your document will be specified to best represent your professional background without being overly focused on any one particular job, allowing for ease of future edits. Regarding the career change, that is certainly a field in which we have extensive experience. There are a variety of methods to address this transition, ranging from use of functional format to the angle of non-related descriptions towards the projected career field. Thanks!

Q:

I am a recent grad with a triple minor; business mgt, public relations and communications. I think my resume is too generic. Can you help me ? I am seeking entry-level positions with room for advancement.

Gail L.  asked on  Jan 10, 2013

A:

Gail, thanks for your question! We can most certainly assist. As you sign up for our process, we'll ask you to provide specific job descriptions you have in mind. We suggest these be within a similar trajectory, as this will ensure that we can make your resume more specific to a single field rather than drawn out over multiple capacities. Business management would likely be the most approach, as it encompasses responsibilities designated by your other majors. We look forward to working with you!
