Hello and thank you for your question! The additional cost is the retail price difference between the Professional Resume and Executive Resume as listed on our payment page (www.jcresumes.com/payment.php). Thank you!

Q:

Where is your company physically located? I noted some reviews on the BBB site, but I cannot confirm if it is/isn't this JC Resumes or a different one. Is there a site where I can see testimonials/reviews other than your website? Thanks much!

Nicholas A.  asked on  Jan 16, 2013

A:

Nicholas, thank you for your e-mail! We have company locations on both coasts for Customer Support purposes. However, our writers are located throughout the country (entirely United States-based) in order to best accommodate writers of different areas. Our clients most commonly post responses / testimonials on our webpage, as we send out surveys subsequent to each order; consequentially, this is the best place to locate our most recent reviews. Thanks!

A:

Hello! Our writing staff is extensively trained in the development of documents for the manufacturing field, regardless of the specified industry. You can submit a job description for our writers to review in their development of your documents. They can utilize your resume as a starting point for information gathering and content development. Thank you!

Q:

It's my understanding that J C Resumes limits the service it provides via Groupons. In particular, I am concerned that the online form used to submit data sounds very convention and pre-structured -- not suitable for someone like myself trying to pull together a variety of different life experiences in making my case for employment. 1) Please correct me if I am mistaken. 2) Where can I see the online questionnaire in advance to determine if I can work with it. Thank you.

Creighton P.  asked on  Jan 14, 2013

A:

Creighton, thank you for your question! Our Groupon service is exactly identical to our retail service, the products being of the most exceptional professional-grade quality. While we do use an initial questionnaire, there is extensive subsequent collaboration with your writer that helps draw all material into alignment with client expectations. You can view our online questionnaire by visiting our website and proceeding in a non-Groupon path (www.jcresumes.com/get-started.php), no need to submit payment at the end. Thanks!

Q:

Dear Madam: I am a Japanese born American and Australian. I would like you to create my resume which I can use in US. I have a problem how I ask you to create my resume. I have been a teacher at universities and corporates. I can teach Japanese language, culture, business, law, sociology, ethnology, etc. I have 30 years[ experience. But after Japan's economic fall down in mid-90, I have continued to change my job such as bookkeeper, company accountant(not CPA), and para legal. I have three degrees in Business Administration, Japanese Law, Japanese Ethnology (Sociology and Culture). I am in my early 50's and find very difficult to find a job. My poor experiences with accounting and legal, don't bring me the final interview. I wonder if you give me an advice as to what I can do with my career. I am quite open to what type of my work. Without having a particular profession, do you think that you can create a resume that I can edit for myself and apply for any position that I can fulfil? I am arriving back to the Bay Areas in CA on the 17th, and will stay until 28th. I will come back to US between March 5 and March 28 in early this year. I hope you can give me some advices in the way that I can get any job with my past experiences and some skills although legal and accounting are very little. Could you give me a response or advice on this? If you give me a consultation on this issue, and create a resume for multi-positions that I can apply. I will buy the coupon, and ask you to write my resume in January or March. I will be in Japan to take care of my father during February. But I hope you resume will help me to get a very matching position with me although my skills (except teaching) are not enough, and I am not young to start something new. I am looking forward to hearing from you on this issue. Sincerely, Chika Takeuchi
