What You'll Get
Unlike with jet skis, golf carts should be changed midstream for one that hasn't been driven haphazardly into a body of water. Make accurate drives with today's Groupon: for $22, you get a round of golf and golf cart at Jekyll Island Golf Club on Jekyll Island, GA (a $45 value for adults and a $25 value for ages 15 and under).
Jekyll Island Golf Club has been attracting golfers since 1898 with an array of courses for all skill levels. Choose from one of the club's three 18-hole courses and embark on a day of challenging club swinging, interspersed with brief bouts of between-hole motoring. The 6,760-yard Pine Lakes course winds its way through coastal forests, spotted with lakes and bunkers that defend 18 elusive holes. The Oleander course hugs the curves of inland lakes and pine forest, which protect golfers from the brisk whistle of oceanic trade winds and vacationing corporate whistleblowers. Also available is the Indian Mound course to expand the flavor sampling of the golf spectrum.
Due to the island's minimal development, the landscape surrounding Jekyll Island Golf Club remains pristine and home to indigenous wildlife. While not concentrating on tricky, astrally projected club swings, golfers can focus their keen eyes on the tree line in hopes of spotting deer, osprey, and other assorted fauna.

About Jekyll Island Authority
On Jekyll Island, waves crash along the 10 miles of beaches as kayaks cut through the salty water, cyclists roll over 20 miles of paved trails, and riders on horseback clop through hushed maritime forests. All visitors to the barrier island can partake in myriad active, relaxing, or educational activities while immersed in its lush natural landscapes, where dunes give way to beaches filled with hermit crabs and shell collecting and where birders clutch binoculars to examine avian habitats and decode gulls' sign language. The island's public golf club, open since 1898, hosts two 18-hole courses and one 9-hole course on manicured greens and rolling terrain. In the summer, the Summer Waves Water Park provides a cool escape from the heat with six slides, a wave pool, and a lazy river. For indoor adventurers, exhibits at the Georgia Sea Turtle Center illuminate the lives of the shelled reptiles, and a museum preserves relics of the wealthy families who used the island as their gilded getaway and a place to bury their expired money. The Jekyll Island Authority oversees all conservation and development on the idyllic island, existing to continually improve the park and its amenities.
