Great job, great mission.
  • Computer-skills training
  • Helps mothers to further their educations & careers
  • Aims to break cycle of poverty

Mothers who must support their families on a single income often lack the resources necessary to continue their educations or advance their careers, such as access to a computer or technological training. Jeremiah Program aims to break cycles of poverty by providing a wide range of resources to women who are supporting families, including help obtaining a postsecondary education, career training and mentorship, and housing assistance.

The program aims to assist all of its graduates in earning at least an associate's degree, and about 45% of participants go on to earn bachelor's degrees. Jeremiah Program participants also engage in a variety of career-focused activities, such as resume writing and computer-skills training. However, the organization's computer lab is currently too small to accommodate all of its participants, and the technology that is available is outdated.

Join G-Team and donate $10 to help Jeremiah Program provide computer access and training to mothers in need. If G-Team members raise $600, Jeremiah Program can purchase one new computer for its participants. Each additional donation will go toward purchasing another new computer.

Unlike traditional Groupon deals, G-Team campaigns typically don't offer you a "discount" or "savings." So "buyer" beware—when you click "Buy" to donate your time or money to a worthwhile G-Team cause, the only discount you may receive is 100% off free, priceless karma. Read more about G-Team.
