Every local community has a story, a history, and a unique personality that cannot be replicated. This is often thanks to specialized, small-scale businesses, like this one, which contribute to a neighborhood’s distinctive character and promote a thriving ecosystem in their community. Small, independent businesses offer diverse products and services, fostering economic resilience. When you buy local, you build local, and deepen your connection to your own community.

A Chat with Jess Vanny Photography
What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
You can tell that I love what I do just by the creativity and laughter in all of my clients in my photos. I have a strong passion for what I do, I think that is what makes you a great photographer.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I draw inspiration from my French father, who taught me at a very young age how to use my first camera. He used to take photos of me and my mother all the time and it fascinated me how it all came together.
What do you love most about your job?
MY CLIENTS! I love my clients and how they are always so happy with their portraits. They always come back to me for all their special moments in their lives, every year! :)
What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
My favorite compliment is from one of my clients who's husband was a Wedding Photographer for several years and had his own Photography business. He said he has never been so impressed with how his daughter's Wedding photos came out because they weren't posed, everyone looked so natural and candid.
