Hi Sandra, We love entering Kidergarten kids... they are welcome at Camp Sisol. It's a great way to enhance independence before Kindergarten starts.

Q:

I see that the theatre camp is at Camp Sisol somewhere in Honeyoe Falls, but am having trouble finding exactly where that is. Do parents drop off children there, or is there busing? If so, what times are the drop off/pick ups?

michelle lynn g.  asked on  Apr 30, 2013

A:

Hi Michelle, There is busing available--for no additional charge--including multiple stops at the JCC and others scattered throughout mostly Brighton and Pittsford. The stops and times are listed on our website www.campsisol.org under the Parent Information section. There is also a map showing directions to the camp. We do welcome drop-offs as well.

Q:

Is the two week day camp for specific dates, or is it for any two weeks over the summer?

Jennifer D.  asked on  Apr 30, 2013

A:

The sessions for the Teen Travel Camp are 2 weeks each. The first session begins July 1st with a 2 week schedule from that point through the summer. The first week of each session is spent in camp doing various exciting activities plus learning/practicing camping skills. The sceond week of each session will include a 3night/4day camping trip. The locations for each trip are available on our calendar which can be found in the Parent Information section of our website www.campsisol.org.

Q:

Is Camp Sisol a camp where the camper stays overnight for the week or do they come and go every day? And where in HF is this camped located? I have lived in HF for most of my life and truly have never heard of this camp.

Camp Sisol is a day camp. We do have overnights on a weekly basis depending on age. The camp is located at Markus Park, 183 Quaker Meeting House Rd., 14472. Can't wait to see you there!

Q:

Can you clarify new camper? We utilized the groupon for Camp Sisol in 2012. Would we be able to purchase a groupon this year?

Deborah T.  asked on  Apr 29, 2013

A:

Hi Deborah, A new camp is someone who has never attend our camp before. If you bought Sisol last year you would not be eligible this year. However, you would be eligible to sign up for soccer camp or theatre camp. Barbara
