Joliesse Chocolates is where candy meets imagination. Founder Grace Lapsys was inspired by her global travels and her own childhood spent in the Phillipines where, she says, "eating 'tsokolate' was a way of life." Today, she crafts chocolate truffles marked by nuanced, inventive flavors and draws on her film and TV experience to create the photogenic little spheres. The Brigitte Bardot, for instance, pairs dark chocolate with Grand Marnier and orange confit. The Lena Horne: white chocolate with rosemary and pinot noir. The Audrey Hepburn? Milk chocolate, Hawaiian sea salt, and caramel. Then there are Joliesse's limited-edition confections.
