About Jonamac Orchard
Despite having the same name as one of the apples it sells, Jonamac Orchard actually got its moniker from the combination of the names Johnson and McArtor. With three generations of the McArtors involved, Jonamac Orchard has been family owned and operated for over 32 years.
The McArtors grew the Malta orchard, adding an indoor store stocked with cider donuts, caramel apples, and homemade fudge, as well as increasing their number of apple trees to more than 10,000. And after consulting a corn-maze designer in Orem, Utah, they added a corn maze in 2000.
Now, Jonamac Orchard is a fall-festivities mecca, where families pluck ripened apples right off the trees and get lost among the stalks in the corn maze. The maze gets a new design every year, keeping families and minotaurs on their toes. Jonamac also entertains kids with an apple launcher, petting zoo, pony rides, and jumping pillow.
