What You'll Get
A dance class can teach anyone to move with grace through bee attacks while getting served in front of a blind date or during megaprom. Achieve confident feet with today's Groupon: for $65, you get a nine-week children's or adult fall session (a $130 value) at Jo's Footwork Studio, located in Western Springs.
Jo's talented faculty ushers students step by step through the fancy-footed dance techniques of ballet, pointe, tap, modern, Zumba, and other expressive maneuvers. The fall session begins September 6 and twinkle-toes to an end November 6, with one-hour classes held once per week for nine weeks. Ready to work with students ages 3 and up, the instructors lend a patient foot to their pupils, with students of similar skill or age grouped together. By learning hip-hop, lyrical, or jazz, students decked in sweats or a leotard will be able to develop the grace of a soulful doe, prancing in pointe shoes while pirouetting through the early-evening sky.
Dance enthusiasts who wish to continue their lessons can do so without paying a registration fee for their next session or bribing their Reeboks to spy on classes.
All fall classes begin September 6, 2011; Groupon holders must register for class before then.

About Jo’s Footwork Studio
Before they became instructors, the faculty members at Jo’s Footwork Studio honed their skills in a range of diverse companies, from Illinois’s postmodern Matrix Dance Improv to Mexico’s timeless Compañia Nacional De Danza. Now, these 11 toe-tappers train people of all ages and levels in the art of dance. Year-round instruction perfects form and expressivity in styles including ballet and hip hop. Pomdance lessons combine lyrical steps with pompoms as props, and percussive tap classes teach students to spell out their names in Morse code.
