Dr. Joy K. Lunan DDS brings more than three decades of experience to her family dentistry practice, which serves patients in the greater Waterbury, Naugatuck, and Middlebury areas. A native of Mercedes, Texas, she studied at Baylor University and the University of Texas, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. Today, she works hard to not only brighten smiles with whitening treatments and cosmetic procedures, she also wants to ensure that mouths stay healthy with cancer screenings and preventative care. Regular cleanings, x-rays, and checkups are key in deterring expensive problems in the future and maintaining a healthy mouth for as long as possible.

When she is not caring for her adult patients via cosmetic and restorative dentistry or her pediatric patients, she maintains an active lifestyle of kayaking, cycling, sailing, skiing, and fishing. Much like her work at her dental practice, her interests are diverse and include spending time with family, friends, and her beloved dogs.
