Dinner at Julie's Waterfront comes with a show—hardly unusual for an Orlando-area restaurant. Though it involves plenty of water effects, don’t expect any animatronic pirates. Instead, Lake Jennie Jewel provides the stage for an eclectic floor show of local wildlife, as well as pyramidal flocks of migratory ski shows. All diners have to do is relax, chill out to some live music, and enjoy the slow dance of the palm trees.
Luckily, there’s not a bad seat in the house. Every table sports stunning views of the lake, whether it’s inside or out on the decks and patios. The foreground tends to be pretty nice, too, with its plates of conch fritters, beer-battered grouper fingers, and grilled salmon paired with cous cous. Julie’s culinary team specializes in seafood, but the diverse menu also encompasses grilled chicken burritos and housemade garden burgers crafted from mushrooms, broccoli, and rolled oats. Free Wi-Fi is available to customers so that they don’t run from table to table screaming, “Which Love Actually character am I?”
