Aspiring gourmands at K-Joe's Cajun and Creole Restaurant craft New Orleans-style feasts from fresh, local ingredients under the tutelage of esteemed chef Joseph Faroldi, who recently earned a starring role on The Learning Channel's Food Buddha. During each class, the charming chefstructor leads pupils in preparing a four-course Creole feast, consisting of a Cajun salad, seafood beignets, Cajun jambalaya, and bread pudding, which is slightly more popular than bread Jello. Once dishes materialize, lessons switch from educational to delectable as participants dig in to each creation and complement epicurean treats with K-Joe's signature Katrina cocktail.
At the end of each session, attendees will be rewarded with copies of each of the class's recipes. Pupils will also receive a color photograph of Chef Faroldi and a Learn to Talk Cajun glossary, perfect for translating future conversations with the chef's photo.
