In 2007, Sacramento Magazine hailed the garlic chicken at Kabob House as "grilled perfectly" with garlic mayo that was "simply indescribable." Five years later, the magazine was still championing the chicken for its "moist and tender" meat and a mayo ideal for diners who are "ga-ga for garlic." While the eatery takes special pride in its garlic fowl, whose marinated fillets chefs grill over hot coals, Kabob House serves plenty of other, equally mouth-watering Greek dishes. Mostly comprised of Greek classics, the restaurant's menu runs the gamut from grape leaved stuffed with rice and seasoned lamb to skewers adorned with seasonal veggies.
