About Kai's Kookies & More Bakery
When their daughter, Kai, was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, Tracy and Patrick Watkins knew they needed to provide her with as much love and care as possible. One way they did so was to quit their jobs as engineers and launch a bakery named after their little girl and her favorite treats. In the kitchen at Kai's Kookies & More Bakery, the couple ices custom sugar cookies by hand and creates unique confections like their salted toffee brownies and personal-size cheesecakes that come in 12 flavors. The treats here are so beloved, Scoutology named the shop to its list of Top 24 East Coast Cupcake Shops.
In addition to packing their display case with handcrafted confections, Tracy and Patrick supply desserts to eight local restaurants. Visitors can also book Kai's for special events such as tea parties and international summits disguised as children's birthday bashes.
