Great event
  • Labor Day Eve game
  • Three seating options
  • Luxury suite for up to 20 guests
  • Fireworks & autograph sessions

Baseball enthusiasts can’t properly behold the glorious seventh-inning stretch in a crowded living room, because there’s always someone standing on the coffee table getting his forehead rhythmically slammed by the ceiling fan. Catch the game in comfort with today's deal: half off a seat or luxury suite when the Kane County Cougars host the rival Wisconsin Timber Rattlers at Elfstrom Stadium in Geneva on Sunday, September 5, at 6:00 p.m. Choose from the following options:

  • $300 for a luxury suite for up to 20 people (a $600 value)
  • $6 for a single box-seat ticket (a $12 value)
  • $5 for a single reserved-seat ticket (a $10 value)

The Kane County Cougars, a Class A minor-league team, has launched many ballplayers into the diamond-studded sky, including Cubs pitcher Ryan Dempster, sweet swinging lefty Adrian Gonzalez, and the powerful-thighed Miguel Cabrera. Thanks to recent renovations to Elfstrom Stadium, all seating areas provide crisp, unfettered views of the on-field artistry and the surrounding amber skies. Luxury suites sit atop the main seating areas and offer fans plush climate-controlled seating, satellite television, and an outdoor terrace with authentic stadium seats. Box and reserved seats sit fans a few rows closer to the field, amplifying heckling volume and increasing the odds of foul-ball snagging.

Aside from inning-to-inning action, the game provides interactive fun, including a pre-game autograph session, game-time antics from Ozzie T. Cougar, and post-game chances to run the bases and tussle friends and friendly fireflies during late-evening fireworks. With no work on Labor Day, fans will be free to lose their voices cheering, fill their stomach tanks with food and libations, and celebrate into the wee hours just like their grandparents did when Yogi Berra ate an entire celery stalk on national TV.

Children age two and younger do not need tickets if they are not occupying their own seats. The luxury-suite package does not include food and drink.

Reviews

The Daily Herald and the Chicago Tribune recommend Cougars baseball. Yelpers give the experience a four-star average:

  • First, suspend the perception that any baseball short of the major-league variety is dinner theater in Dubuque compared with Broadway…You might spot a gem acquiring needed polish as he toils among the young Midwest League prospects out in Kane County. – Dan McGrath, Chicago Tribune
  • Best place to see a minor league game. I have gone so many times. It is great for kids, teens, young and old adults. – Pat E., Yelp
