What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Our after school program is exceptional because of our director. A former lawyer-turned-teacher, she's spent 15 years teaching children in the classroom, homeschooling, or as a private tutor. She really knows and loves kids! On top of that, she's a black belt in taekwondo!

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
We wanted to create a place where children could grow -- mentally and physically. Daily martial arts training with master instructors, combined with a learning-rich after school program to support children and their academic development was our answer!

What do you love most about your job?
The children and seeing them learn! I love the look on their faces when they "finally get" long division or pass their first belt test. Their confidence and sense of accomplishment is palpable.

What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
The people at Kang's really care about our kids!
