Originally opened as a café serving locally sourced ice cream and signature sandwiches with an Eastern European flair, Karloff transformed into a rustic restaurant and wine-and-beer bar. The newly renovated eatery now focuses on favorites such as hearty soups, vareniki (traditional russian dumplings made with potatoes or meat), braised oxtail, and Atlantic trout, plus other hearty options including pulled-pork stew served over creamy mashed potatoes and stewed red cabbage. And now, with Russian sodas and juices, plus a large local and craft-beer and a domestic and international wine selection, Karloff is a fun venue for private events such as rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, or coronations.

Customer Reviews

Our waitperson was friendly and attentive without hovering. The food was delicious and good sized portions. My husband enjoyed the Russian beer that he had.
