What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
I have done hair all over the country - from L.A. to New Orleans to NYC Fashion Week. I manage education for an international color company as well. My travels and experiences have developed a huge repertoire of skills to help anyone achieve their style goal!
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I started out in 1999 in a huge high-volume salon that was loud and overly busy. I have always wanted a small studio in which I could provide my clients with personal attention! It’s also time to travel less and provide my clients with more attention as I start building my family here in the area.
What do you love most about your job?
I love everything about my job! There’s the satisfaction of instant gratification from a makeover. I love the relationships we develop in this industry as well. As we become more techie, this of the few industries left in which we actually look one another in the eye. That’s powerful.
What is the best reaction you've ever gotten from a customer?
When I moved 1400 miles away from Chicago over 7 years ago, more than half my clientele waited 10 months for my return so I could color their hair. In all my travels, they’ve stayed with me. Our mutual loyalty is one of the best displays of feedback I’ve ever seen!
