What You'll Get
Old masters rewarded observant art critics by hiding things in their paintings, such as discreet self-portraits and lewd caricatures of the queen. Take your place in art history with this Groupon.
Choose Between Two Options
- $29 for a two-hour art workshop for adults with materials (a $60 value)
- $129 for a three-hour birthday party for up to 15 children (a $300 value)
For adults, beginner-friendly workshops at Katerina Atapina Art School or Blue Panda Studio in watercolours, drawing, acrylics, ceramic, or sculpture are held on weekends by appointment, with no more than six students per class. The studio supplies all materials, including paints, canvases, and high-temperature ovens to get the clocks nice and melty.
Alternatively, a playground of possibilities arise during party packages at Katerina Atapina Art School or Blue Panda Studio. Kids can get their faces and hands adorned with patterns and disguises, then turn to blank canvases to create a landscape or cartoon scene. Art activity typically lasts around one hour with up to two hours for cake, presents, and mingling. Birthday cake and a paintable plate for the guest of honour are included.

About Katerina Atapina Art School
Katerina Atapina sees no conflict between fun and professionalism. Armed with degrees in both art and education, she designs classes that underpin the exuberant artwork of kids and adults with a firm grasp of colour theory, design principles, and technique. Even high-school students often turn to the school to develop the skills they’ll need to pursue careers in comic-book illustration, animation, and fashion design. Weekly workshops and art classes for adults and children focus on painting, ceramics, watercolours, and sculpture, and summer camps help students beat the heat by painting ice-cold pictures of lemonade or crocheting a ceiling fan.
