About Kauser's Salon and Spa
When Kauser opened her first salon in the late '90s, she was among the first to bring threading to Chicago. This Eastern technique uses twists of cotton thread to pluck unwanted hairs with precision and speed, which can create a more-elegant arch with less discomfort than more-common tools, such as tweezers or hedge clippers. Today, Kauser and her staff beautify clients with herbal and chemical-free products at her current location in Roscoe Village. In addition to threading, the salon also offers waxing, facials, makeup, and henna tattoos that decorate hands and arms with swirling patterns and delicate flowers.
