Kawali Cafe, whose owner has been on shows such as Man vs. Food for his previous culinary ventures, features a menu with two halves, each of which draw their culinary inspiration from islands in the Pacific, where the seafood is fresh and bountiful. The first section covers sushi options, which include raw slices of salmon and yellowtail, as well as baked and deep-fried rolls. The other half of the menu focuses on Filipino cuisine, specifically homestyle meals of beef stew and chicken adobo. This section also features such delicacies as pancit bihon (egg-rice noodles sauteed with pork or chicken) and hipon (a fish soup made with tamarind and tomato broth).
