Q:

Does it matter that I cannot swim? I really want to try this activity out but I wonder about the kayak accidently turning over. Does this happen often or is it pretty safe for nonswimmers as well?

Bonnie D.  asked on  Oct 15, 2012

A:

Thanks for your question, Bonnie. While everyone will be required to wear a life vest, feel free to contact the business directly in the event you have follow up questions concerning your safety specifics at (985) 778-5034. You're smart to think safety first!

Q:

Is the kayak a 2 man, or can each take their own? How big of a group does each tour entail? By guided, does this mean all must stay as a group? and is there an actual "verbal" tour as part of the package?

Ina C.  asked on  Oct 15, 2012

A:

Hello Ina, Everyone has their own single kayak, Our tours are between 2-8 people. This is a historical guided tour. A tour guide will give the history of the area while poiting out some of the wildlife and fauna.

Kids under 14 cannot share a kayak with an adult?? We have done this type of tour in San Diego and our girls were able to go with us. That's too bad, it sounded like a fun activity.
