Few places in the world offer views as serene as the sheltered waters stretching through Redwood National Park and Prairie Creek State Park. And just moments away from both of those spots lies Kayak Zak's, where paddlers of all abilities can find the equipment and guidance they need to enjoy a day on the water. The trio of guides help newbies pick up basic kayaking and SUP skills, and can even lead adventures across the nearby lagoons.
Beyond renting out the water crafts themselves, the shop outfits expeditions with all the other essentials, including wetsuits, neoprene booties, and life preserves for humans and dogs. Above all, Kayak Zak's wants to make each experience as inclusive as possible, ensuring even adventurers with physical or mental disabilities have an opportunity to enjoy the area through an adaptive paddling program.
