Q:

I have 5 or 6 MiniDV tapes with my wedding footage that I'd like to get transferred to a DVD. Can I still use this Groupon to do that, and then just pay for the extra cost of the additional tapes? If so, how much would that run? Thanks!

Tammy K.  asked on  Mar 14, 2013

A:

Yes you can use the Groupon for your MiniDV tapes and then pay the extra. For all projects we offer free no obligation estimates. The pricing for our straight transfer process is $19.99 for one tape up to two hours. If we are able to combine tapes the pricing is $19.99 for the first and $5 per tape added to the same DVD. Please give us a call and we can discuss this further. Thank you and have a great day! We are open Monday - Friday 9a-6p

Q:

What is the file format on my MiniDV's recorded with at Sony camcorder? Can the files be transferred exactly in the same format without converting to a compressed format? I want to be able to edit them on a Mac and I want to start with the format that Sony used to record the video...problem is my Camcorder was stolen, so I cannot use the Firewire connection to get the data from the tapes to a hard drive...can you guys help with that?

Chad M.  asked on  Mar 13, 2013

A:

If your footage has recorded to a MiniDV tape, the format is MiniDV. We would have to capture the footage from your camera and that is not covered by the groupon. Please give us a call so we can discuss this process further with you. We are open Monday - Friday 9a-6p (614)751-9222 We look forward to your call!
