What You'll Get
Like surgery, golf requires a steady hand, specialized equipment, and an ample supply of mulligans when things don't go well. Minimize your dependence on do-overs with today's Groupon: for $99, you get a total golf-game analysis and two 30-minute follow-up lessons from seasoned golf pro Keith Jarvis at the Northcrest Golf Driving Range (an $850 total value). The scientific golf study will be devoted to swing analysis and putting, followed by professional feedback and helpful tips for improvement. All lessons must be scheduled in advance.
Keith Jarvis utilizes years of experience and an arsenal of high-tech equipment to help par-seekers shave strokes from their scores. The short-game scrutiny begins with a TOMI putting analysis, in which a state-of-the-art, personalized training device records every movement of each putt, displaying the results in real time. Using a camera, a clip-on sensor, and proprietary software, TOMI instantly displays the strong and weak points of the swing, dramatically improving putting and helping camera-shy clubs see there's nothing to be afraid of. The course-conquering breakdown continues with the K-VEST TPI 3-D, a portable, wireless system that utilizes live video, real-time audio, and visual biofeedback to get quick summaries on six swing essentials. Three state-of-the-art sensors in the vest, belt, and glove pick up data from your swing and transfer it to a computer. If you raise your club casually during the backswing, K-VEST knows. If your body turns toward the target in the backswing, K-VEST knows. If your backswing is about to hit a bystander, K-VEST knows (and snickers).
After your initial session and analysis, you will receive two 30-minute private lessons with Keith Jarvis, during which he will butter your swing like a happy macaroni, including driver, wedges, and putter instruction. Jarvis has been teaching and playing professionally for nearly 20 years in the United States, Japan, and Mexico. He was a head honcho at The Heritage Golf Club in Atlanta and currently is a staff instructor for the Northcrest Academy of Golf.
- It's called the K-VEST and since its arrival on the golf scene in 2006, it has been greeted with much fanfare from some of the game's most distinguished and celebrated players. – Jim McCabe, Boston Globe
- I thought that the instruction was well detailed and helped me observe what to do right and what I was doing wrong and how to improve my technique. – Darren J, testimonial

About Keith Jarvis
Currently the Head Golf Professional and Director of Instruction at The Heritage Golf Club, Keith Jarvis calls upon his 24 years of experience as a professional player and coach to enhance each lesson. Students perfect swings for extra distance off the tee and practice short-game precision for more one-putts and fewer galleries showered with sand. Lesson programs incorporate the K-Vest trainer, worn to limit extraneous movements and develop muscle memory during the swing, and Tomi putting equipment, which helps putters develop a consistent stroke.
