Kendra Thyne has an excellent eye for balance and form and uses concise, expressive imagery to help each client attain their own personal goals.
Exercise is challenging. How do you keep clients motivated and engaged?
According to Joseph Pilates, “You will feel better in 10 sessions, look better in 20 sessions, and have a completely new body in 30 sessions.”
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
A former company member of Oakland Ballet and Winifred R. Harris’s Between Lines, Kendra was prescribed Pilates in 1990 as post ankle-surgery rehabilitation. She then trained at Long Beach Dance Conditioning in California and has owned and operated her own Pilates studio since 1997.

Kendra loves the “lightbulb moment” when a client begins to understand their body and how it works.
