What You'll Get
Though spinning massive amounts of dough above one's head is an amusing way to display a coin collection, it requires superhuman stamina to maintain. Rest your triceps and leave the dough-spinning to the pros with today's Groupon: for $12, you get $25 worth of Italian cuisine and drinks at Kenny's Trattoria in Williamsburg. This Withers Street eatery is only open for dinner (5 p.m.–11 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 5 p.m.–10 p.m. on Sundays).
Established by the former owner of Brick Oven Gallery, Kenny's Trattoria serves up homestyle Italian flavors in a casual dining atmosphere. Those with a taste for the traditional will enjoy homemade pastas, such as the ravioli of the day ($13+), or the chicken saltimbocca, a sautéed chicken breast topped with spinach, prosciutto, and fresh mozzarella beneath a marsala sauce alongside a potato croquette ($15). The restaurant's brick oven brings forth a multitude of mouthwatering pizza varieties, such as the Pizzamakers, adorned with slices of fresh tomato, roasted eggplant, gaeta olives, and goat cheese ($12), as well as the cheeseless Natalie Monroe, with artichoke hearts, mushrooms, and hot peppers banded together beneath a protective layer of crisp arugula ($11). Kenny's plentiful list of fresh ingredients also accommodates custom concoctions, enabling patrons to realize signature recipes calling for mozzarella, mozzarella, mozzarella, and anchovies without having to get their own hands dirty with mozzarella.
- Amazing!! Homemade pasta, great service. We had the mushroom, mozzarella, and goat cheese pizza which is a must-have. – Missylee, Urbanspoon
- The gorgonzola gnocci [sic] was SO GOOD. I had to fight off my boyfriend's attempts to steal these delicious little bites....I can't wait to try more of their food. – Carolynn W., Yelp, 9/11/10
