After about 60–75 minutes, most patrons locate the exit or resolve to make a career switch to become scarecrows. Two rest stops break up the journey with benches, tents, and water coolers, and guides stake out an observation deck with a bird's-eye view of the labyrinth, ready to help wanderers in need of assistance or eeny meeny miny mo decisions about which way to turn. On leaving the edible web, explorers can challenge one another to games of gourd checkers or continue practicing directional skills on an 8,000-square-foot rope maze.
