Kayaking is a workout that surrounds you with nature, like chopping down a tree or escaping from a coffin. Look alive with this Groupon.

Choose from Three Options

  • $40 for four Groupons, each good for one 60-minute kayak, double-kayak, or paddleboard rental on Monday–Friday (an $80 total value)
  • $25 for a 90-minute twilight tour on Monday–Friday (a $45 value)
  • $45 for two Groupons, each good for a 90-minute twilight tour on Monday–Friday (a $90 total value). Both vouchers are meant to be redeemed together, making it a tour for two.

Each option includes life jackets, paddles, cushions, and a rundown of safety basics. During the twilight tour, guides lead groups around Teddy Roosevelt Island to explore landmarks and discover trivia from a unique river vantage point.

Boating in DC

From weather-beaten docks that support rows of kayaks in a rainbow of colors, paddlers disembark onto the Potomac, threading through the bridge’s arches and taking in the lush riverside scenery. Nestled along two Anacostia and Potomac River locations, Boating in DC's team of water conquerors is on hand to instruct new kayakers and paddleboarders in taming the river’s gentle waves. Upon returning to shore, guests are invited to make use of the dock’s picnic tables to eat lunch and dry their hair.

it was nice because I had my entire family here from oklahoma--for my wedding and we were going to go to museums, but they were closed, so i called key bridge boathouse and they said they were open...but then when we got there they had closed the boathouse because of the govt shutdown :/ but they said we could use this at the southwest location and we had a good time. this was especially nice considering we had to move the wedding location too because of the shutdown!
