Scientists agree that children are our future, which is why most children are sealed in time capsules with a flashlight and a stack of magazines. Give a child something he or she will really dig with today's deal: for $12, you can drop your child off in safe and able hands at Kids Creations Art Studio on any scheduled Friday night from 6 p.m.–9 p.m. (a $25 value including HST).
Designed to treat parents to a weekend evening of alone time, Drop-off Art Night gives kids 3–12 years old an evening of fun and games with creative flavour. In an art studio specially designed for children, little ones will nurture their inner Monets, Dalis, and Kinkades with access to games, snacks, bottled water, and more while fervently debating modern art movements in small groups of 20 or less. Trust that your children are in the safe hands that won a first place reader's choice award from the Cambridge Times while you spend an evening wiping only your own mouth on January 21, 28, or any other Friday evening booked at least three days in advance.
Cambridge Times gave Kids Creations Art Studio two Diamond awards for Best Kids Entertainment and Best Art Gallery in the Cambridge Readers Choice Awards 2010.
Kids Creation Art Studio
Jackie Harris, mother of two, uses the knowledge she gleaned while studying art at Kenton College to kindle a passion for art in every child she teaches. She believes art can not only unleash a child's imagination, but also improve their self-esteem. In her family-oriented Kids Creation Art Studio, Harris and her experienced team engage pint-sized artists with paint-your-own pottery, daylong or week-long summer camps, 12-week art classes, and blank canvasses coated in sugar. Troupes of youngsters can also visit the studio for art-filled birthday parties that include two hours of studio time, facepainting, and sweet treats.
