Commonly Asked Questions

Q:

Do you have to pay for the parent and toddler in the Tots can cook class (purchase two instead of one) or do I purchase one persone and the parent is there as a guardian?

Gina M.  asked on  Oct 31, 2012

A:

In our tots classes, the parent participates as an assistant, so you would just need to purchase the single class groupon. Thanks!

Q:

Hi, I am new customer, my daughter is waiting to attend the class, I paid the class but I did not received any confirmation from you. May you please tell me , how long I need to wait , thank you Tina

Agustina S.  asked on  Nov 1, 2012

A:

Hi Tina, I'm not sure whether you're waiting to get your groupon (from groupon) or waiting for a class confirmation from us. Once you have your groupon, you can give us a call to register, we'll take your voucher number over the phone and then send you an email confirmation confirming the class date/time. Thanks!

Q:

We have purchased a Groupon in the past for our first child. Can I purchase another one to use as a "New Customer" for our 2nd child?

Dulce B.  asked on  Oct 31, 2012

A:

Unfortunately, since one of your children has been to classes before you would not be considered a new customer. We do offer discounts and deals to our existing customers through our email list, so keep on the lookout for those!

Q:

Can I take the class w my 10 year old?

chaquira v.  asked on  Oct 30, 2012

A:

Actually, Chaquira, in our hourlong classes for kids ages 4 and up parents do not participate. But you'd be more than welcome to stay and watch and maybe try to steal a taste of the finished product!

Q:

When I pull up the schedule to see what is offered, this is the message that appears "Online registration is available by session only. If you are interested in single classes or a prorated session, you can register by phone (773.235.2665) once online registration closes (2 days before the start of the session)." So if I purchase this groupon, I have to wait until 2 days before a session starts to register?

Shawna C.  asked on  Oct 29, 2012

A:

We are now accepting single class sign-ups at any time. And once our new website it done, you'll even be able to sign up for individual classes online! But for now, just give us a call and we can break up the session for you. Thanks.

Q:

Wy is it one child class for $12 and one class for two kids classes is $48? Is that wrong? I would like to purchase one class each for two kids if it is $24. Thanks.

JANICE C.  asked on  Oct 29, 2012

A:

You are absolutely right - groupon got it right in the description, but not on the buy page. We've pointed it out to them and hopefully they'll have it fixed shortly. Thanks!

Q:

I tried to purchase the -two kids groupon for 24 dollars but it says that there is a 2 minimum making the total $48. Cant just buy one. Are you aware of this?

vansa k.  asked on  Oct 29, 2012

A:

It is supposed to be as described on the deal description page - 1 class for 1 child for $12 or 1 class for 2 kids for $24. I just clicked through the "buy" button and saw that they are mistakenly charging $48 for the 2 classes. I've left messages for my contact at groupon for them to fix that. Thanks for pointing it out.

Q:

Can this be applied toward family class, as I have two kids in different age groups? And to confirm, kids can do a single class from a series?

inna b.  asked on  Oct 28, 2012

A:

Kids can do a single class that is part of a series. But no, the groupon is not valid for family classes, just the tots, kids or teens can cook classes.
