Kiko Sushi Bar
You can spend a lot of time just reading the menu at Kiko Sushi Bar. On any given evening, the chefs here cook more than 140 examples of traditional Japanese cuisine, adding some Asian flavor to Ottawa's Little Italy neighborhood. Sushi, sashimi, donburi, and noodle dishes all come out of the kitchen—many accented by teriyaki, ponzu, or other sauces made entirely in-house.
Japanese paintings, bamboo, and even a decorative sword help set the vibe inside the dining room, which splits seating between a sushi bar and tables ideal for both romantic dates or business lunches. In fact, Kiko Sushi Bar has become a favorite dining destination for members of the Japanese Embassy, according to a video profile by Ottawa Living.
