What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition? Founded in 1998, Kinder Swimmer has been teaching children to swim with confidence. All of our instructors are lifeguard-certified and are privately trained as well. Our mission is to instill love and respect for the water through experienced instruction.

What's one tip for first-time students that will make them feel like veterans? Arrive a few minutes before class time and say hello to your instructor and we will get you ready for your lesson! All you need is a towel and your bathing suit, we do the rest!

What was the inspiration to start or run this business? Everyone needs to be confident and have life-saving skills in the water. Washington loses more children under age five to drowning than any other state. Our goal is to help everyone learn to swim. We teach ages 3 months and up as well as adults. We offer flexible scheduling.

What do you love most about your job? I love teaching children to swim, watching a child progress from fearful to a confident swimmer is a great reward both for me and for the children!
