King’s Deer Golf Club

Since opening in 1999, King’s Deer Golf Club welcomes players to putt, chip, and drive against a majestic backdrop of the Pike’s Peak and Front Range mountains. This 18-hole course, complete with gleaming fairways and smooth greens hemmed in by treacherous wetlands, closely follows a Scottish-links-style layout. Golfers may celebrate the general absence of trees found on the 200-acre expanse, but tall rough grasses and deep pit bunkers can still send a round awry.

To prepare for tee-off or whittle away at their scores, players of all levels can head to the elevated driving-range for some reps with a driver, pitching wedge, or tire iron. King’s Deer also boasts a clubhouse restaurant with plenty of tasty options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Read below for a by-the-numbers overview of the course.

  • 18 holes
  • 72: course par
  • 6,711 yards from the back tees
  • 72.2: course rating from the back tees
  • 135: course slope from the back tees
  • 5 sets of tees
