- $350 for a two-week Junior A theatre camp, valid for kids ages 6-11 ($500 value)
Kids will put up “Shrek The Musical Jr.” during the two-week junior camp, which takes place at the Yorktown Jewish Center from June 29-July 11. The camp runs from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Monday-Friday, and culminates in a final performance on Friday, July 10 at 7 p.m. at Putnam Valley High School.
For more than a dozen years, the passionate folks behind KJK Production have been enhancing after-school theatrical programs, while their summer theater camp has been running 27 years strong. A not-for-profit organization, KJK works to foster children's appreciation for the arts, providing all the instruction, costumes, and sets for full-scale theater productions. These productions range from Broadway musicals to children's fairy tales, and encourage kids to get invested in a project that they can feel proud of in front of their family and peers during the eventual performances.
