Is therapeutic massage considered intended only for the injured? Would this be a good massage for someone who is just sore from every day wear and prefers a a deeper massage?

Our Therapeutic sessions are based in Swedish Massage, intended for everyone with aches and pains that come along with daily living. You may inquire with the therapist you select about Deep Tissue, which is a technique within that Swedish modality. Deep Tissue techniques often incur an up charge, just as Hot Stones would, but each therapist handles that uniquely. Those with acute injuries should seek a medical referral for Medical Treatment massage or Clinical Massage. This type of service is billed differently and progress should be monitored by a doctor. If you have a chronic injury requiring Swedish Massage techniques to treat it (i.e. increase circulation, break on adhesions, improve range of motion....), then please do let your therapist know you have a specific request and feel free to use your Groupon. I hope this was helpful. Welcome to Kneady Body!
