In fact, at the eatery's Stony Point location, the culinary team focuses on sushi alone. They work with myriad cuts of fresh fish, turning them into everything from roe-bedecked California rolls to the Dragon Roll, which includes baby squid, stuffed with rice and deep-fried before chefs finish with a flourish of eel sauce.
They're just as adept with vegetables, too, whipping up vegan creations such as the Green Roll, which arrives stuffed with cucumber and asparagus and crowned with seaweed salad and wasabi sauce. Although the Stony Point chefs' sushi offerings cover miles of ground, their counterparts at Kobe's downtown location also make forays into other Japanese dishes, like hibachi-grilled steak and bowlfuls of rice noodles.
