Kobi's Kitchen Co-op
Healthy food should be available for everyone. This is the driving idea behind Kobi's Kitchen Co-op, an organization that connects local farmers with customers in need of organic produce. Kobi's Kitchen works exclusively with farmers within a 100-mile radius who practice sustainable agriculture, such as Eden's Organic Garden Center and Good Earth Organic Farm. Volunteers from Kobi's collect produce from the farms and pack baskets with leafy greens, hearty potatoes, and deep purple eggplants, all in season and all free from pesticides, herbicides, and fungicides. The co-op's customers can then retrieve baskets at set pick-up locations or have them delivered directly to their front doors to show mailmen that they could always be replaced.
