  • One entree or two sushi rolls per person (up to a $33.50 value each)
  • One glass of wine per person (an $8 value each)</p>

Kone’s culinary artisans meld a menu merging Japanese sushi, seafood, and grilled cuisine with spicy Brazilian notes. Zap drowsy dates into tasty alertness with an appetizer of oysters vacationing from the Gulf of Mexico before moving on to a seaworthy entree of lemon-caper-kissed salmon. Turf-based dishes, including Cuban-style skirt steak drizzled in peppery criolla sauce, sate terrestrial teeth and water-wing-dependent taste buds. For those preferring their cookery uncooked, sushi selections including seaweed-wrapped veggie rolls ($6) and sassy Copacabana rolls bursting with avocado, cucumber, and mango ($8) are readily available.

Kone’s bold-tangerine walls and radiant light fixtures welcome guests’ eyes to drink in the décor as they savor complex bouquets from the wine list. The restaurant closes at midnight five days a week and at 2 a.m. every Friday and Saturday, providing late-night entertainment without repetitive infomercials.

About Kone Restaurant

Near Miami beach, bright red slices of tuna steal glances from everyone in the vicinity before a plate of king crab legs arrives to take over the show. Kone takes its culinary inspiration from all around the world, resulting in a seafood-driven menu that fuses colors, flavors, and ingredients from distant points of the globe. A typical meal here might open with lobster tempura maki or Gulf oysters served fresh on the half-shell. But it's hard to ignore the lengthy list of housemade pastas, from classic lasagna to gnocchi bolognese. As they dine on the open-air patio, diners mingle over mojitos and wine, taking in the surrounding ambiance of Espanola Way's palm-lined streets, the restaurant's charming cafe-style facade, and the distant wail of jealous seagulls.
