What You'll Get
Gastropubs are the monocles of dining—they combine style with science and make you an instant connoisseur. View your meal in a new light with today's Groupon: for $15, you get $30 worth of gastronomy-influenced cuisine and drinks at Kozmo Gastro Pub in the Alpharetta area. Kozmo Gastro Pub is owned by Oswald Morgan, the former co-owner of the acclaimed Globe Restaurant & Bar in Atlanta.
Kozmo's menu is where gourmet takes on comfort-food classics. Pique your stomach's curiosity with an appetizer of house poutine (fries with duck confit, gravy, and mozzarella, $9.99), deviled eggs ($3.99), or buffalo grilled-chicken wings ($8.99). All of Kozmo's burgers are hand formed from ground sirloin and brisket; the Kozmo cheeseburger is topped with white cheddar and caramelized onions ($8.99, add bacon or mushrooms for $1). Dress up your macaroni as a little lamb with an order of white-velvet mac ‘n’ cheese, with parmesan, mozzarella, white cheddar, and blue cheese ($10.99), or try a new take on fettuccini, with braised duck, cabbage, caramelized onions, and duck jus ($14.99). To ensure your sweet tooth isn't left out in the cold to gather rain puddles in the cuffs of its waistcoat, order one of the $6 desserts, such as warm flourless chocolate cake with whipped cream or rum-glazed pineapple-upside-down cake and ice cream.
Kozmo's modern dining area and minimalist design aesthetic create an atmosphere that matches its casually chic menu. Sip in style on the Kozmopolitan, or another of Kozmo's many fresh, hand-crafted cocktails, and take in the house's take on the old classic while experiencing the cutting edge in trendy dining.
- The atmosphere and the menu manage to be casual yet sophisticated…On a recent weeknight, the 20-seat bar was definitely the place to be, with exuberant regulars and a few curious onlookers crowding onto nearly every one of the Philippe Starck-style aluminum stools. – Bob Townsend, Atlanta Journal-Constitution
- Oswald Morgan's gastropub focuses on a comfort-food menu that includes hamburgers, fresh salads, and velvety mac 'n' cheese...The very "intown" interior mixes industrial modern with roomy booths, warm lighting, generous fenestration and a tantalizing view of the open kitchen. – Gayot
- I've been hearing about Kozmo for a while since they opened and just tried it last night for dinner. WOW!!!! This place is not only incredible ... but affordable too! – restaurantjunkie, Urbanspoon

About Kozmo Gastro Pub
After nearly 20 years in the restaurant business, Oswald Morgan gambled his career, finances, and reputation on Kozmo Gastro Pub. After years developing and working in swanky restaurants such as The Globe, Oswald had the notion that a restaurant with the right combination of creative cuisine and vivacious atmosphere could lure adventurous diners through its doors—even if it resided in the suburbs. The hopeful restaurateur worked to make Kozmo in the image of metropolitan eateries, outfitting the dining room with a slick and airy wall of windows and bar-height tables coupled with brushed-aluminum chairs. Perched at their seats, diners can sip from the extensive list of beer and cocktails or share small plates of immaculately presented duck confit or risotto balls as they people-watch and toast their reflections for their impeccable style.
