Lens crafter Lori Ann Scott caught the shutterbug as a child after discovering inspiration from intriguing new camera angles. Honing her skills through worldly experience (her well-worn passport boasts stamps from exotic locales including Belize, South Africa, and Italy), she excels in all sorts of imagery, from promotional to event. Scott’s journalistic style maintains a natural feel, free of awkwardly staged poses and frighteningly forced grins.
If you’re constantly disappointed by the sloppy alignment and closed-eye outtakes, this is your opportunity to receive wall-worthy photographs. Like glow sticks and Cinderella’s transportation, special events are ephemeral. Hiring a professional insures you’ll have quality documentation of your party’s most memorable moments, from the gourmet cheese ball to how pretty your hair looked.
Lori Ann is also experienced in career photography, including business cards, promotional work, and musicians and bands. Get this Groupon as a gift to jumpstart your laid-off little brother’s budding flutist pursuits, or as a thoughtful present to showcase a friend’s crafty side projects.
Pictures speak louder than words, and Lori Ann’s are saying all great things. Merchant Circlers give her four stars:

Throughout the whole of nature, there are many elusive beings that cannot be properly photographed (vampires, ninjas, your girlfriend who goes to a different high school). Groupon paraphotographers were, however, able to uncover one irrefutable incident of ghost photography: the infamous Hansen Collection.
In 1978, amateur bat photographer Gregory Hansen was in his front yard one night when a mysterious white orb appeared in the sky over his home. Diverting his attention from a particularly active nest of eptesicus fuscus, he began photographing the orb, which made no attempt to flee or conceal itself. Hansen continued to document the orb as it reappeared over his house, each night shrinking slightly “as though passing slowly into the spirit world,” Hansen observed. On particularly cloudy nights, the orb would not be present, prompting Hansen to speculate that ghosts may be allergic to thunder.
Although skeptics have said “I don’t have time for this” and “Seriously, are you five? I’m actually asking you if you are literally five years old” regarding Hansen’s photos, die-hard Hansenites keep the truth alive through web-based communities and Obey The Orb street graffiti. Hansen tragically passed away in 2005, when he was struck by a roaring mechanical demon while crossing the street.
