What You'll Get
Some of the best things in life are kept under wraps, such as crêpe fillings, birthday presents, and the crush that all math teachers have on all English teachers. Unwrap delicious delights with today's Groupon: for $7, you get $15 worth of French fare at La France Café & Crepes in Lombard.
Dubbed one of the best crêpe purveyors in Chicago by Chicago magazine in 2010, La France Café & Crepes welcomes diners with a mellifluous menu of French flatcakes that sets tongues to tapping and moustaches to twirling. Chef Ben Mchabcheband and his culinary crew carefully construct each crêpe fresh to order, filling its belly with sweet or savory selections. To help you recall sweet dreams, choose warm apricots smothered in melted brie atop a sweet vanilla crêpe ($8.95) or nestle apples with cinnamon and caramel within a sweet crêpe blanket ($8.95). Crêpe forestiers envelope chicken or beef, wild mushrooms, and gruyere cheese to deliver a savory meal and epistles from the front lines of the kitchen ($12.95), while open-faced galettes expose the stomach-invading strategies of empire-driven eggs and various members of their hunger-trouncing team, such as ham, fresh tomatoes, and braised spinach ($11.95).

About La France Cafe & Crepes
"Bonjour!" That's what you'll hear when you walk through the doors at La France Cafe & Crepes new larger location with additional seating, parking, and expanded hours, where energized chefs have churned out authentic French crepes since 2009. Once seated and glancing over the menu, visitors can choose from a variety of sweet and savory crepes and customize to their own individual taste. Though it's not incredibly long, the menu is divided down the middle between those two sides. Sweet crepes include fresh fruits, Nutella, and a variety of home made sauces. On the savory side, crepes are filled with everything from roasted eggplant and zucchini to sautéed sea scallops, chicken, and braised beef. No matter which type a diner chooses, chefs will make it fresh-to-order instead of rubbing a magic lamp and waiting for a genie to appear with it. This includes their fresh beignets that are served during all hours. The new location boasts additional seating and parking, extended hours, and an upcoming beer and wine menu.
