The right blend of Mexican spices turns meals into fiestas and lures droves of grazing piñatas within the reach of a sturdy broomstick. Enjoy south-of-the-border zest with today's Groupon: for $25, you get a Mexican dinner for two (a $61.85 total value) at La Frontera Mexican Grill in Hackensack. The dinner includes:

  • One appetizer (up to an $11.95 value)
  • Two entrees (up to a $21.95 value each)
  • Two nonalcoholic drinks (up to a $3 value each)

La Frontera Mexican Grill incites a sensory fiesta with its menu of fresh and healthy south-of-the-border cuisine. Starters of camarones y pulpo al ajo pair shrimp and octopus with Frontera’s signature chipotle dip to crush appetites and inspire struggling B-movie writers. Call roll for a long list of tacos, burritos, and fajitas, or opt for the Jalea’s floured and fried seafood mélange of shrimp, fish, squid, crabs, and mussels. Like mummified chefs, a quintet of chicken wraps emerges the kitchen swaddled in white, wheat, or green-spinach-wheat shells. Four flavors of Mexican Jarritos irrigate arid palates, as do milk shakes shaken with fresh bananas, mangos, and guanabanas. While not included in today’s Groupon, a selection of fruity margaritas and homemade sangria punch aptly accompanies spicy meals, and since Frontera is BYOB friendly patrons can opt to tote along their own suds, spirits, and bathtubs full of moonshine.
