La Piazetta

Applying skills acquired while working at New York’s Rainbow Room, Executive Chef Francesco Cuozzo combines fresh ingredients to craft house-made potato gnocchi and veal sautéed with shiitake mushrooms. To pair with savory items, co-owner Mario Fortunato extends the success of his Fortunato Brothers Café & Pasticceria, alongside son Carlo, by introducing fine dining palates to specialty sweets such as cannoli Siciliano. These guys know what they're doing. It's genuine Italian. The waiters are very polite and charming and the food is always delicious. The ambiance is nice too.

The staff is very friendly. The food is delicious. The waiter always made sure to ask how my boyfriend if he liked his food or if everything was good but never once asked me, as if I wasn't there and unfortunately it wasn't the first time this same waiter has behaved in this manner.

The decor was amazing, comfortable and felt like home and elegant. Each table received immediate and prompt attention and the chef was also amazing. I ordered something that was not on the menu and the chef executed my request very well. My husband still raves about the salmon.
