A cranky nun gives up her vacation in order to teach summer school -- and now you're one of her lucky pupils -- in Sister's Summer School Catechism, a one-woman interactive comedy by Maripat Donovan, the award-winning creator of the hit show Late Night Catechism and its sequels. In its infinite wisdom, the diocese has somehow decided that Sister should forgo her vacation and teach summer school instead. And as one of her students, you'll be part of her lively discussions on topics like "What's an appropriate summer vacation for a practicing Catholic?" and experience her less-than-sunny demeanor as she gets all fired up over a flurry of subjects, including having to wear 50 pounds of gabardine in 90-degree heat. Sister's Summer School Catechism is now in session at Laguna Playhouse.
